My flash fiction, ‘Old School Rivalry’, has now been published by Fictive Dream and is available to read by following this link here: ‘Old School Rivalry’.
‘Old School Rivalry’ is about two women, Hannah and Zoe, bump into each other for the first time in ten years, and their old jealousies are reignited.
The featured image on this page is an illustration for the story by Claudia McGill. It is called Lady Looking at a Tiny Woman Figure and has been produced as a mixed media collage 6″ x 6″. Isn’t it just fascinating? I think it really suits the story well. You can find out more about Claudia McGill and her work at Claudia McGill and Her Art World, the link for which is RIGHT HERE.
I hope you enjoy reading ‘Old School Rivalry’ and consider submitting your own work to Fictive Dream.

My flash fiction called ‘Touching the Tender Parts’ will be published in a forthcoming anthology with the working title of A Furious Hope.
I’m really excited for my work to be included in this anthology of fiction and poetry about hope, which will be edited by Zelda Chappel. We are experiencing dark days, and with each passing day the world seems to be getting a little bit darker; this anthology is an anthology of hope in these hard times.
Though it sounds risqué, ‘Touching the Tender Parts’ is a delicate story of hope in a situation that is all to common. I can’t wait to share it with you when the anthology is published in 2017 (publication date to be confirmed).
